Josh was a good friend to everyone who was in room C202 this year. We all enjoyed his company and we all have memories of him. He could make just about anyone smile, and I'm sure that we will all miss him. This goes out to his family and other friends that we don't know. And also to Josh, if he can read it.

Comment a memory of him, so that everyone can see what he was like.

ReplyDeleteI'll miss Josh. Every year there are a few students in class that I use as a barometer to gauge what we're learning. I need a student without a lot of experience with the material, but is willing to learn and works hard in class. I measure the progress of the class with the progress I see in those students.
ReplyDeleteJosh was one of those students. I appreciated his effort, his inquisitiveness, and his desire to learn. He was always trying to figure out "what next" and applying what he learned in class.
And he was funny. And he got my jokes, too.

Josh was a great student. He was a hard worker and always here and on on time. He would help students that needed help and he would do a lab with anyone that needed to do a lab. He will be miss by everyone that knew him.
ReplyDeleteJosh was a funny guy. Always ready with a joke at the drop of a hat. As soon as someone would finish their sentence, he would have some kind of clever remark, and I would wonder how he had thought of it so fast. He was someone I enjoyed talking to and it sucks that he's gone.
ReplyDeleteJosh was part of a video that was filmed in the C202 lab the Tuesday before Thanksgiving break. I put him to work cabling one of the lab assignments. Here's the link to the show that was broadcast on Topeka's KTWU: http://watch.ktwu.org/video/2310850998/
ReplyDeleteHe and another student can been about four and half minutes into the show. There's a good scene of Josh right after the six minute mark.
Josh was so smart and funny. He always helped others in class and had a positive attitude towards school and life. The world would be a better place if there were more people like Josh in it. I'm gonna miss him.
ReplyDeleteThis is Josh's Dad. Josh was everything you have described on here. He cared do much for other people, it was amazing. Sadly he suffered so much from depression in the end, no one could save him. If anyone on here knows of a way to capture that video, I would like to get it.
